Things seem to be getting perpetually worse as each week passes. Last week I get mugged, and today I find out my Mother had to be air lifted to the hospital because she had a fucking stroke! What the fuck?!
Good news is she seems to be ok and hasn't suffered any permanent damage. They got to her in time to give her some new drug that breaks up clots and now she's in ICU.
What happens next week? A plane crashes into my house? |

Leslie and I were robbed at knife point by five charming Oakland residents last night. This happened about three blocks from our apartment. All they took was my wallet, but the cop I talked to said we were very lucky, because most of the muggings here end in stabbings, shootings, beatings, what have you.
Needless to say, I don't think we'll be sticking around Lake Merritt for much longer. |

I got my shitty broken phone replaced with what is probably an equally shitty phone, but couldn't retrieve my numbers so I need all of your help.
I'm trying to avoid as much manual adding as possible. Sooooo If you have my phone number could you do me a huge favor and message me your name (and number if you're number is blocked) so I can start rebuilding my list...

The news going around that Fox will not be renewing Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles upset me on a whole new level today, after watching the 2nd season finale. It was soooooooo good!
The questionable first quarter of the first season and the slight slow down in pace half way through the second aside, this show is god damn amazing. But Fox, in their infinite wisdom, will very likely give this the Firefly and Arrested Development treatment (at least I got two seasons worth.) Granted they could technically just leave the show where it is because of certain plot points I wont spoil. But I want more dammit!
Those of you who have yet to watch it... get on it. Or if you just dismissed it outright because of the idea of a TV series based on Terminator is blasphemy... just shut up and watch it, you might be surprised.

I have just become a victim of Credit Card fraud.
Apparently somebody tried to purchase $40 worth of crap from PC Tools, get a subscription to the New York Times, make a $11 cash advance, and some other thing that I can't remember.
Thankfully it got resolved, but now I've had to cancel my account, destroy my card, and must wait a week for a new one...YAAAAY!
Not sure how that happened, I'm usually really careful about this crap, and I very rarely use it online. |

I'm reformated my pc and can't find my god damn product key for windows.
I need someone to generate a key (or several incase one doesn't work) for Windows XP Home Edition sp2 and message it to me.
I'd do it myself but all the key gens are .exe and I'm on Leslie's mac. I could call stupid microsoft but their offices are closed and the damned automated crap is just sening me in an endless loop. |

I can kind of understand The Dark Knight not getting a Best Picture nod, but replacing it with The Reader and NOT The Wrestler? COME ON!
AND Dark Knight getting snubbed from the Best Score category after winning that disqualification fiasco? Fuck that
Then we have Chris Nolan and Darren Aronofsky getting fucked for Best Director over The Reader once again.
Springsteen not getting a Best Song nod for The Wrestler yet Slum Dog gets TWO? Bullshit.
AAAAAND Dark Knight doesn't get a Best Costume Design nomination but Milk does...because you know how hard it is to replicate ugly 70's clothing.
...Oh Well, at least they gave Robert Downey Jr. a Best Supporting Actor nod for Tropic Thunder even though there's no way he's winning over Heath Ledger.
